Milagros is Research Lead at DAIR and heads the Data Workers’ Inquiry project.
As a sociologist and computer scientist, Dr. Milagros Miceli works closely with data worker communities worldwide to interrogate labor conditions and power dynamics in the AI industry. She is Research Lead at the DAIR Institute, head of the “Data, Algorithmic Systems, and Ethics” unit at the Weizenbaum-Institut, lecturer at TU Berlin, and principal investigator of the Data Workers’ Inquiry, a platform where data workers shape AI research and influence public discourse and policy.
